Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System - East (FDLRS)
Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) is a statewide network which provides support services for exceptional education teachers, regular education teachers with ESE students in their classroom, parents of ESE students, agency personnel, and others who are involved in the education of ESE students. FDLRS/East provides services to Brevard and Volusia school districts. This site includes a searchable database of the entire FDLRS/East library collection and lists service offerings to teachers in Brevard and Volusia districts.

UCF CARD (Center for Autism and Related Disabilities)

UCF CARD provides individualized, direct assistance to children and adults of all levels of intellectual functioning who have Autism, pervasive developmental disorders, autistic-like disabilities, dual sensory impairments, or sensory impairments with other disabiling conditions.  Services include technical assistance and consultation, professional training programs and public education activities.  Card services are designed to build on the capacities of state and local resources, not to duplicate them.  The Center is funded by the Florida Legislature through the Florida Department of Education and all services are free of charge. 

Brain Injury Association of Florida, Inc.
Advocate for persons with brain injuries by encouraging the development of programs to meet their rehabilitation needs, providing support for families, educating the public, enhancing policy regarding delivery of services to people with brain injuries, and implementing prevention campaigns to reduce the incidence of brain injury.

Bureau of Exceptional Education & Student Services
Administers programs for students with disabilities and for gifted students. Additionally, the bureau coordinates student services throughout the state and participates in multiple inter-agency efforts designed to strengthen the quality and variety of services available to students with special needs.

Children & Adults with Attention Deficit Disorders (CHADD)
CHADD works to improve the lives of people with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder through education, advocacy, and support.

Family Network on Disabilities of Florida
Maximize the quality of life for adults with disabilities, improve outcomes for children with special needs and provide families support, education, and information, empowering them to maintain their family and experience dignity and respect.

Network for Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (SEDNET)
Promote student, family and professional access to a complete array of services essential to success of students with or at risk of severe emotional disturbance.

Agency for Workforce Innovation, Office of Civil Rights
Promote, develop and provide placement, job development, testing and counseling for persons whose disability is a barrier to employment.

Florida Alliance for Assistive Services & Technologu (FAAST)
Enhance the quality of life for all Floridians with disabilities by promoting Awareness of, Access to, and Advocacy for Assistive Technology.

Florida Council for Community Mental Health, Inc.
Provide accessible, quality services to clients with emphasis on community-based services offered in the east restrictive, most clinically appropriate setting.

Florida Department of Children & Families (DCF)
The Department of Children & Families is dedicated to helping people with disabilities live as self-sufficiently as possible. Services offered include residential supports, day training, therapeutic services, adaptive equipment, family supports, transportation, job coaching, vocational skill development, job placement and many other personalized services.

Florida Department of Juvenile Justice
Provide a full range of programs and services to prevent and reduce juvenile delinquency in partnership with families, schools, communities, businesses, law enforcement and other agencies.

Florida Developmental Disabilities Council
Encourage and advocate opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities and implement prevention activities that either eliminate or reduce factors that cause development disabilities in individuals.

Florida Spinal Cord Injury Resource Center
The Florida Spinal Cord Injury Resource Center serves as the statewide clearing house of SCI resource information for persons who have survived spinal cord injury, their families and friends, health care professionals, support groups, the media, and the general public.

Provides support to Exceptional Student Education in small and rural districts in Florida.
